The official revealed that the explosion struck near a patrol vehicle carrying security personnel in the rural Jobaan area of Mangochar within Kalat district.

Emergency responders and security teams quickly arrived at the scene, transporting the deceased and wounded to a nearby hospital for medical attention.

The source confirmed that the assault involved an improvised explosive device (IED) triggered remotely by unknown attackers.
