Speaking at the forum’s concluding press briefing, Kobyakov—who also functions as the executive secretary for the SPIEF Organizing Committee—shared the updated figures, underscoring the scale of commitments reached this year.
He pointed to a growing momentum in efforts to rebuild international commercial relations, emphasizing that participants from more than 100 nations and regions attended the forum.
This year’s SPIEF took place under the slogan “Shared Values: The Foundation of Growth in a Multipolar World,” and encompassed over 350 official events, including 24 dedicated business dialogues with key global partners.
Russian President Vladimir Putin addressed attendees during the forum’s main plenary session on Friday, delivering the headline speech.
Additionally, Kobyakov revealed that Saudi Arabia has been selected as the guest nation for SPIEF 2026.
Launched in 1997, SPIEF has evolved into a cornerstone event for Russia’s global economic engagement.
